Safari tent + sanitary facilities - 4 persons

Kleine camping bijna boven op een berg. Het dorpje is een typisch Italiaans bergdorp met een restaurantje waar je heerlijk pasta kunt eten. Sanitair op de camping is schoon, verder eenvoudig. Veel landgenoten maar dat is logisch aangezien de camping van een Nederlands bedrijf is. De kinderen op de camping, die waren ‘s avonds nogal wat lawaaierig. Rond rennen en naar elkaar schreeuwen. Terwijl de kleinere kinderen al op bed lagen. De beheerders sloten daarom de trampoline om 21.00 uur. Beheerders zijn zeer gastvrij en erg behulpzaam. Je voelt je meer dan welkom. Fijne vakantie gehad en genoten van de mooie omgeving en leuke en interessante plaatsen als Gubbio, Arezzo, Assisi, Perugia en Siena.

Wij zijn vorige week op deze kleine camping geweest met onze twee dochters van 8 en bijna 5 jaar. Het is een mooi gelegen camping, bovenop een berg, met mooie uitzichten, vooral vanaf het zwembad. Enige nadeel van de ligging is dat je steeds een kwartier naar beneden/boven moet rijden als je ergens naartoe wilt. Maar daar raak je aan gewend. Het zwembad is netjes onderhouden en heeft ook een ondiep deel voor de jongere kinderen, en genoeg zonnebedjes en parasols. Je kunt drinken, snacks en ijsjes kopen bij de grote receptie tent, dit kan je doen door hetgeen je zelf pakt op een lijst af te tekenen, wat je aan het eind van je verblijf afrekent. Ook kan je hier broodjes voor de volgende dag bestellen. De safaritent (wij zaten in de 4 persoons met eigen sanitair) is simpel maar netjes. Ik miste wel een tafeltje en stoelen binnen, al kan je makkelijk de tafel buiten naar binnen halen bij slecht weer. Ook zouden er wat meer haakjes (voor kleding) aan de wanden gemaakt kunnen worden. Verder niets op aan te merken! Het sanitairgebouw op de camping is netjes en schoon. De huidige beheerders (Anneke en Rolf, met hun lieve viervoeter Sara) zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeker een camping om aan te raden!

Fine, quiet campsite with great views. The glamping tent with its own bathroom is very practical with young children. Beautiful places nearby and there is something for everyone. Definitely recommended.

We had a very nice vacation at this campsite! We had 15 days to stay in a safari tent including sanitary facilities and we really liked it. Everything was very clean and tidy, the tent was very spacious and everything worked fine. The campground has a nice atmosphere because the campground is not too big, there is a lot of nature around it (so a lot of green) and it is cozy with the tents. Both restaurants within walking distance are both very good and very affordable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We are super glad we stayed here this year and had a nice peaceful vacation! Thank you! 🪴 Tip: bring a mosquito net! This year there were a lot of mosquitoes. This is not something the campground can do anything about, but it is irritating 🦟!

Stunning campground located at the foot of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina ( a quiet place in nature but not too far from the city, perfect solution for those who are looking for some tranquility but do not want to stray too far from the comforts) where you can enjoy incredible views of the Umbrian landscapes both from the tents and the pool and magnificent sunsets. The tents are modern installations, very large and well maintained ( owned by Vodatent), reminiscent of those from Safari. Regarding the services offered, we took advantage of the aperitif full of local products and two nights a week dinners were organized where there was a convivial atmosphere ( burger night and lasagna night, the vegetarian options very very good and very appreciated); in the morning instead you could decide to have bread and croissants or a breakfast bowl and as for the bar we found a very easy solution i.e. self service, where everyone could take what they wanted from coffee, drink, ice cream etc. and simply mark it on the personal sheet of the assigned tent/spot number and then pay everything at checkout (I would say very optimal). Clean environment and kept tidy, communal sanitary facilities were cleaned impeccably every day, helpful and friendly staff, Joanna and Mike made us feel at home, thanks again guys and see you next time!
